Beata and Rudziasz, or rather Karis, are a story whose happy ending brought us great joy. A horse that, at the age of 3 and 4, raced on the Warsaw Służewiec race track had always been under special care due to potential past ulcer episodes. Ten years of observing Rudziasz showed physical and behavioral discomfort. These symptoms intensified especially during the autumn–winter periods and when new horses appeared in the herd. The range of observed symptoms was very wide:

  • general decline in well-being,
  • frequent yawning with characteristic stretching of the neck,
  • crib-biting, which had not occurred before,
  • sensitivity to touch in the back, abdomen, and girth area,
  • increased anxiety and spookiness,
  • muscle tension and stiff gait,
  • lack of rest in a side-lying position, sleep deprivation,
  • very rare lying down and only in the sternal position,
  • deterioration of hoof horn quality and overall hoof condition,
  • apathy,
  • lack of interest in concentrated feed, walking away from meals,
  • no willingness to play with other horses,
  • lack of initiative to play,
  • dull coat,
  • occasional avoidance of touch.

Over the last two years, repeated blood tests consistently showed deficiencies in microelements, despite the use of dietary supplements and herbs.

At the beginning of April, Beata came across QUUS and read the publication about the research presented on the website. She contacted Łukasz from QUUS and, during their conversation, described her struggles. She said that she suspected gastric ulcers in her horse, was looking for a product to support the treatment, and most of all wanted Rudziasz to simply feel good again. Mr. Łukasz informed her that shortly after introducing the product, Rudziasz’s quality of life would improve significantly and that he would start finishing his meals. And that is exactly what happened.

Since April 15, Rudziasz has been receiving QUUS morning and evening before meals at a dose of 50 g. After just a few days of use, Beata noticed a significant improvement in Rudziasz’s comfort:

  • he became willing to be touched again and can once more be scratched and stroked,
  • his desire for closeness returned, and Rudy offers his body to be petted where he wants, which is a sign of good well-being,
  • he initiates play with other horses on his own,
  • he is able to lie down close by and nap, and more and more often assumes a side-lying position,
  • greater calmness and relaxed muscle tissue,
  • smoother gait,
  • reduced frequency of yawning,
  • clearly visible good mood,
  • frequent snorting,
  • calm eye expression,
  • he eats all his meals, even with supplements he previously refused,
  • he eagerly awaits meals and no longer walks away from his food.

After observing these positive changes following two weeks of using QUUS, Beata wrote to Mr. Łukasz to thank him sincerely, confirming that the product works and that she intends to continue administering it.

Thanks to this, Beata can return to shared walks and activities, and the veterinarian has given the green light to resume work with Rudziasz. After more than two years of searching for a solution, we can finally enjoy our horse again.
